Bulgarian Federation for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu represented by Club Real Pain is now officially part of the Checkmat Jiu-Jitsu family and is in very close relationship with one of the team leaders - Rodrigo Cavaca.

The Checkmat team was found in 2008 by Leo Vieira - third degree black belt in brazilian jiu-jitsu.

The mutual work between club Real Pain and Checkmat Jiu-Jitsu builds the foundation for moving the jiu-jitsu evolution in Bulgaria to a whole new level.

Rodrigo Cavaca is one of the most popular jiu-jitsu competitors around the world. Some of his main achievments are:

• World Champion (2010);
• 2x European Champion (2010, 2009);
• 2x Brazilian National Champion (2010, 2008);
• World Silver Medallist (2009);
• Pan American Silver Medallist (2009);
• 2x Pan American Bronze Medallist (2010, 2008)
